Construction of an Isolation Unit at the Kiambu Covid-19 Center in Tigoni

Mabati Rolling Mills, a Member of Safal Group, in partnership with the Kiambu County Government and the Kiambu Covid-19 Emergency Fund has commissioned the construction of an Isolation Unit at the Kiambu Covid-19 Center in Tigoni.
The Isolation unit will have 104 bed capacity and will be fully equipped for Covid-19 emergency cases.
The Isolation Unit, valued at over Kshs. 25 million is jointly funded by Mabati Rolling Mills and the Kiambu County Covid-19 Emergency Response Fund. It is expected to be completed in September 2020.
The Isolation Unit will be built with SAFBUILD© – MRM’S Pre-engineered steel building solution which allows for fabrication of the building at our factories and then quickly assemble it at site. This technology reduces construction time by 50% against conventional building methods.
The Unit will be delivered within very tight timelines and at the best quality and value, thus giving the County an advantage ahead of the increasing COVID19 cases.
